EYE CARE
At Moran Eyecare, our highly trained and friendly optometrists are also independent prescribers, meaning we can diagnose and treat a wide range of eye conditions directly in practice—often saving patients a trip to their GP or the hospital eye clinic. During your appointment, we carry out thorough checks to keep your eyes healthy and your vision clear. Best of all, every eye examination is free of charge, fully funded by NHS Scotland.
Each examination is tailored to your individual needs and typically lasts around 30 minutes. We use the latest eye examination technology to assess the condition of your eyes and provide the best possible care.

For those who would like an even more detailed assessment, we also offer a 3D retinal scan (OCT). This advanced test allows us to examine the health of your inner eye in greater detail and can help identify potential conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration—both of which are easier to manage when detected early.
